CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The Yellow Jackets again helped to make Operation Christmas Child a reality for children around the world.
 
In association with Samaritan's Purse the Yellow Jackets packed a total of 1,157 shoe boxes with small gifts during what was a busy day sports inside the Callan Athletic Center.
 
The women's volleyball team hosted the G-MAC Championship match followed by a women's basketball game vs. Roberts Wesleyan and a men's basketball contest against nationally ranked Lincoln Memorial.
 
CU athletes called local businesses and offices requesting donation items. Money was also collected to purchase kids' toys, books, school supplies, and hygiene supplies.
 
Schedules allowed nearly every Yellow Jacket team to participate in the event.
