ASHLAND, Ohio — Cedarville wrapped up another strong road performance with a 3–1 win at Ashland on Tuesday night.
The Yellow Jackets took the opening set 25–17, dropped the second 25–21, then rebounded to win 25–18 and 25–16 to secure the match.
Cassi Shields led the offense with 14 kills and hit .360, while
Allie Pilat and
Madelyn Hensley each added 15 and 16 kills, respectively.
Setter
Kaley Matney directed the attack with 55 assists and added eight digs.
Janae Heegaard contributed nine kills and two blocks, while libero
Alivia Rutt tallied 20 digs and an ace.
Cedarville hit an efficient .271 as a team, including a blistering .483 mark in the fourth set. The Jackets tallied six aces and 58 digs while holding Ashland to a .142 attack percentage.
