CINCINNATI, Ohio -
Hope Carroll and
Sophia Schneider were individual winners in leading Cedarville to a runner-up showing at the Mount St. Joseph Invitational.
Carroll led a 1-2-3 Lady Jacket finish in the 400 meters in 1:01.91.
Schneider cleared a career-best 12-2.75 (3.73 meters) to win the pole vault.
Carroll was second in the 200 (26.97),
Addison Harrington was the runner-up in the 400 (1:02.69), and
Audrianna Enns was second in the 800 (2:23.25).
Field event runners-up were
Caroline Schaeckenbach in the long jump (15-9.50; 4.81m) and
Emma Bailey in the shot put (41-0.50; 12.51m).
Two women accounted for a trio of third place showings:
Northern Kentucky won the seven-team meet with 131.5 points. Cedarville was next with 124 points and Spalding was third with 89.
