FINDLAY, Ohio - The Yellow Jackets overpowered Findlay to claim both games of a G-MAC doubleheader at Fifth Third Field.
Cedarville piled up 28 hits in winning 11-8 and 10-4.
Seventeen of the hits came in the opener when all nine starting players in the batting order recorded at least one.
Grayson Weikel stroked three hits featuring two doubles while
Cooper Martin had three hits including a triple.
Brendan Colley,
Micah George,
Eli Henderson, and
Chris Montes de Oca added two hits each.
Ford Duesing, 3-1, tossed the first 5.2 innings with seven strikeouts.
Walker Harris and Weikel worked in relief followed by
Jordan Geiger, who notched save number three.
Martin came up big in the nightcap with two hits and four RBI including a three-run triple. He also scored twice.
Colley, George, and
Caleb McKinion had two hits apiece for the Jackets, 11-11 overall and 4-2 G-MAC.
Starting pitcher
Jensen Wagoner, 3-2, struck out a career-high 11 batters with no walks in six innings. Reliever
Spencer Allen fanned two more in a scoreless seventh.
