Oilers stymie Yellow Jackets twice in weekend wrap-up

FINDLAY, Ohio - Findlay rebounded from a Cedarville sweep to take the remaining two results of the G-MAC four-game series.

The Oilers were 4-1 and 3-2 winners at Fifth Third Field.

Each side managed just three hits apiece in the seven-inning first game.

Kaden Wilde singled home Cooper Martin for CU's run in the third inning.

Findlay plated the winner in the bottom of the eighth inning of the nightcap on a leadoff home run.

Wilde had two hits including a double and scored both Yellow Jacket runs.

Grayson Weikel added two hits and Chris Montes de Oca drove in both runs with a single and a sacrifice fly.

Cedarville, 11-13 overall and 4-4 G-MAC hosts Ashland in a four-game series on March 27-29.
