WILSON, N.C. - Cedarville racked up 31 runs on 30 hits in defeating Glenville State and Chestnut Hill at Fleming Stadium.

The Yellow Jackets outslugged Glenville State, 14-12, in the first game of the trip.

The winners escaped a mess in the ninth inning when the Pioneers scored eight times and had the bases loaded with one out.

Reliever Jordan Geiger threw one pitch resulting in a game-ending double play ball to get the save.

Brendan Colley went 3-for-4 with an RBI and three runs scored. Eli Henderson and Kaden Shook had two hits each while Cooper Martin added a three-run triple.

Starting pitcher Ford Duesing, 2-0, tossed six innings and struck out seven.

Cedarville pounded Chestnut Hill, 17-5, in the nightcap to improve to 6-8 overall.
