Eli Henderson had three hits and
Grayson Weikel homered to lead Cedarville to a 6-5 victory over Chestnut Hill at Fleming Stadium.
The Yellow Jackets, 7-9 overall, won three-of-four games on their North Carolina spring break trip.
CU scored three times in the first inning on an RBI triple by
Kaden Wilde followed by a two-run homer by Weikel.
The Jackets extended their lead to 5-0 in their third when Henderson drove in two runs with a single.
Chestnut Hill threatened to tie in the ninth by scoring two runs, but
Jordan Geiger locked down the result for his second save.
Henderson went 3-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and a stolen base. Wilde and
Chris Montes de Oca totaled two hits apiece.
Starting pitcher
Jensen Wagoner, 1-2, went the first six innings on the mound allowing one earned run with six strikeouts.
