CLEVELAND, Tenn. - Cedarville placed fourth at the Lee Invitational as three runners met their respective NCAA Division II provisional qualifying standards.
The trio included
Emily Walsh in the 1,500 meters,
Savannah Ackley in the 10K, and
Aubrey Hayes in the steeplechase.
Walsh was third in the 1,500 with the seventh-best time in school history at 4:26.81.
Ackley was the runner-up in the 10K in 35:50.12 and Hayes was the runner-up in the 3K steeplechase in 10:52.66.
Summer Swartwout had two more Lady Jacket Top 10 times in the sprints. She was third in the 200 meters in 24.57 seconds (No. 10 at CU) and was fourth in the 100 in 11.83 (No. 5 at CU).
Sophia Schneider placed second in the pole vault by clearing 11-3.75 (3.45 meters).
Lee won the 23-team meet with 136.5 points. The host Flames were followed by Georgia Tech (103), Ashland (73), and Cedarville (54).
