ASHLAND, Ohio - Cedarville finished fifth at the G-MAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championship with
Summer Swartwout hitting two school records.
The set a new mark in the 100 meter dash (11.56) to place fourth and then tied her record in the 200 (24.09) to finish fifth.
Emily Walsh was fourth in the 1,500 meters in 4:25.87 - No. 5 on CU's Top 10.
Contessa Silva came in fourth in the 5K in 17:45.73.
On Thursday,
Aubrey Hayes finished second in the 3,000 meter steeplechase in 11:00.09 while
Abigail Atkins was fifth in 11:17.95.
Angela Williams was fourth in the long jump with a mark of 18-7.25 (5.67 meters) - tied for ninth in program history.
Sophia Schneider placed sixth in the pole vault at 12-8 (3.86m) - tied for No. 6 at CU. The event was staged indoors because of inclement weather.
Emma Bailey was tenth in the shot put, but her heave of 42-9 (13.03m) ranks fifth on the Jackets' all-time list.
On Day 1,
Raegan Howdyshell took first place in the javelin with a mark of 124-8 (38.01 meters) to win the competition by more than four feet.
Savannah Ackley finished third in the 10,000 meters in 36:22.75.
Host Ashland cruised to the team championship with 209 points. The rest of the top five included Findlay (168), Hillsdale (135), Tiffin (81), and Cedarville (76).
