PUEBLO, Colo. - Emily Walsh grabbed the last qualifying spot in the 1,500 meters to advance to the final at the NCAA Division II Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championship.

The senior from Eagle River, Alaska was timed in 4:34.18 and finished fifth among the 11 runners in the second of two heats.

The top four finishers in each heat plus the next four fastest times comprise the 12 competitors who will run in Saturday's final which begins at 7:35 p.m. EDT.

The meet is being staged at the ThunderBowl on the campus of Colorado State University Pueblo.
