DETROIT – The Lady Jackets came up short in a four-set setback to host Wayne State at the Warrior Invitational inside the Matthaei Center.
The host school claimed the victory, 20-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-18.
Janae Heegaard led the way with 13 kills on a .480 attack percentage while adding four blocks for Cedarville, 2-1.
Cam Davenport chipped in 12 kills and 11 digs, and setter
Kaley Matney distributed 39 assists along with seven digs.
Haley Koch produced seven kills and three blocks. Libero
Alivia Rutt anchored the defense with a team-high 19 digs.
