NCCAA ATHLETES OF THE WEEK
 
CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Yellow Jacket sophomore Coen Ball has been named the NCCAA Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
 
Ball, a 6-foot-3 righthander from LaGrande, Ky., was the starter and winning pitcher in the Yellow Jackets' first victory of the season, 8-3, at Lincoln Memorial.
 
He allowed one unearned run in five innings on five hits with five strikeouts and one walk.
 
The outcome gave Cedarville a split of their season-opening doubleheader.
 
The Jackets are scheduled to host Saginaw Valley State and Lewis at the Athletes in Action Complex in Xenia on February 13-14.
