ASHLAND, Ohio – The Yellow Jackets bounced back to sweep Ashland on the second day of their G-MAC series at Archer Ballpark.
Cedarville took the seven-inning opener, 6-1, and then pushed across a run in the 10th to win the nightcap, 5-4.
Freshman
Brody Adams, 1-3, and
Owen Shimmel combined on a five-hitter in the first game.
Eli Henderson drilled a three-run homer while
Micah George and
Kaden Wilde had three hits apiece.
In the second contest,
Max Doepker's two-out single scored
Riley Finkelston with the go ahead run.
Jordan Geiger pitched 1 2/3 innings of hitless relief to get the victory.
Doepker finished with three of the team's seven hits and
Grayson Weikel doubled for the Jackets, 8-12 overall and 2-2 G-MAC.
