MASON, Ohio – Ohio Dominican limited Cedarville to three hits and knocked out the Yellow Jackets, 9-1, in an elimination game in the G-MAC Baseball Championship at Prasco Park.
CU ends the 2026 campaign with a 23-27 record.
The Panthers got all they needed in the second inning with a pair of two-run singles for a 4-0 lead. An unearned run in the third made it 5-0.
The Jackets' only run came in the fourth inning when
Grant Poindexter led off with a double to left center. He later scored on a sacrifice fly by
Graham Ward.
Cedarville went hitless the rest of the way. The other two base hits came in the first inning on singles by
Chris Montes de Oca and
Eli Henderson.
