CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Findlay rallied for a 10-inning victory and then completed the sweep of a G-MAC doubleheader at Cedarville.
Trailing 5-1 entering the ninth inning of the opener, the Oilers were down to their last strike three times. They tied it with four runs and then went on to an 8-6 win in 10 innings.
The outcome spoiled an outstanding performance by starting pitcher
Max Doepker. He allowed one earned run in seven innings with four strikeouts.
Eli Henderson had three hits including two doubles and drove in two runs. Doepker added two hits and two runs batted in while
Chris Montes de Oca had two RBI and scored twice.
Findlay never trailed in the nightcap in racking up 13 hits. Montes de Oca and
Cooper Martin recorded two hits apiece for the Jackets, 11-15 overall and 5-5 G-MAC.
