EMPORIA, Kansas – The 2026 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships begin Thursday with six student-athletes from Cedarville University in the field.
The three-day meet is being hosted by Emporia State University at Welch Stadium.
Emily Walsh, a 2025 All-American in the 1,500 meters, is the lone Lady Jacket to qualify. She'll run in the prelims on Thursday at 6:25 p.m. EDT and looks to advance to Saturday's final at 5:05.
On the men's side,
Brandon Rogers will compete in the 400 meters prelims on Thursday at 6:40 p.m. EDT with hopes of advancing to Saturday's final at 5:35.
He will also anchor the 4 x 400 meter relay team along with
Jeremy Johnson,
Michael Braxton, and
Caleb Sultan. The prelims are Friday at 8:50 p.m. EDT with Saturday's final at 8:20.
Matt Schaeckenbach is entered in two events beginning with the 110 meter hurdles prelims on Friday at 7:35 p.m. EDT. Saturday's final is set of 5:15.
Schaeckenbach will also participate in the high jump with competition beginning on Friday at 4:30 p.m. EDT.
