Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The Rapid Fired Pizza Female Athlete of the Week (Sept. 26-Oct. 2) is soccer player Mackenzie Northcutt. The senior midfielder from Niantic, Connecticut led the Lady Jackets to a pair of Great Midwest Athletic Conference wins at the Yellow Jacket Soccer Complex. Northcutt was moved to the back line and stabilized a defense that had given up two quick goals as Cedarville recovered for a 5-2 win versus Tiffin on Tuesday, Sept. 28. She blasted in a 35-yard laser for the game's first goal and again anchored the defense as CU posted 3-0 victory on Homecoming Saturday, Oct. 2.
