The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Female Athlete of the Week (Sept. 25-Oct. 1) is volleyball player Kaley Matney. The 5-foot-9 freshman setter from Ft. Wayne, Indiana led the Lady Jackets to an five-set upset of NCAA II #22 Hillsdale on Friday, Sept. 30 in the Callan Athletic Center. She handed out a season-high 54 assists to go with a season-best 16 digs in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference thriller which also snapped a 78-match regular season win streak for the Chargers in G-MAC action.
