The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Male Athlete of the Week (Nov. 27-Dec. 3) is cross country runner Evan Leist. The senior from Beaver, Ohio placed 37th to earn All-America honors at the NCAA Division II Championship on Friday, Dec. 2 in University Place, Washington. Leist toured the 10K at the Chambers Creek Regional Park in 30:27.5. He is the third Yellow Jacket cross country runner to be an NCAA Division II All-American joining Matt Brooker (2013) and Benjamin Tuttle (2015).
