The Germain Ford of Beavercreek Female Athlete of the Week (March 19-25) is softball player Faith Bergner. The junior outfielder from Crown Point, Indiana led the Lady Jackets to a pair of Great Midwest Athletic Conference doubleheader sweeps against Ursuline and Lake Erie. Bergner posted a team-best .533 batting average with team highs of eight base hits, four doubles, six runs batted in, 18 total bases and a 1.200 slugging percentage. She tied for the team lead with six runs scored and a pair home runs in the four games versus the Arrows and the Storm.
