The female SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Mar. 1-7) is distance runner Nicole Santos. The senior from Parkman, Maine won the 5,000 meter run at the NAIA Indoor Championship on Saturday, March 7. Santos took the title in a school-record time of 17:15.31 and is the first Lady Jacket to win a running event at the national meet in 23 years. The Lady Jackets finished 7th of 42 schools.
