Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

The female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (April 10-16) is track & field middle distance performer Carsyn Koch. The junior from Washburn, Maine wiped out her own school record in the 1,500 meters with an impressive victory at the Azusa Pacific Invitational on Friday, April 14 in Azusa, California. Koch's effort of 4:12.19 cut more than 12 seconds from her CU record and is the second-fastest time in NCAA Division II history. She met the DII automatic qualifying time in the 800 meters with a 2:06.36 at the Mt. SAC Relays on Saturday, April 15 in Torrance, California.
