The Courtyard Marriott Springfield Male Athlete of the Week (Sept. 1-7) is cross country runner Trevor Cross. The freshman from Dallas, Oregon made his collegiate debut finishing ninth in 25:47.1 for the 8,000 meters at the Indiana Wesleyan Classic on Friday, Sept. 6 in Marion, Indiana. The Yellow Jackets placed fourth overall in the 15-team event.
