Kari Flunker Hoffman ‘05 was a key figure during her basketball career elevating Lady Jacket basketball into being a perennial NAIA Division II power.
During that timespan Cedarville posted an incredible 124-18 record while winning three American Mideast Conference Championships and bringing home a pair of NAIA Division II National Runner-Up finishes.
Hoffman, a native of Florence, Wis., graduated as the program’s all-time leader in points scored (2,275), three-pointers made (338), three-point percentage (.458), and assists (644).
She was a three-time NAIA Division II All-American and was twice named to the NAIA National All-Tournament Team.
Hoffman was voted the 2005 NCCAA National Player of the Year, was a two-time NCCAA Midwest Region Player of the Year, and a two-time AMC Player of the Year.
She served as head coach of the CU women’s basketball program from 2016-21 piling up a 106-38 record, two G-MAC regular season titles, and a trip to the NCAA Division II Tournament. She was a two-time G-MAC Coach of the Year.
