Samantha (Maat) Modderman was a three-year cross country runner and four-year track standout during her Cedarville career from 2004 through 2007.

In the two sports combined, the Walker, Michigan product was a 12-time NAIA All-American, 14-time NCCAA All-American, the 2006 American Mideast Conference cross country champion, and a five-time AMC champion on the track.

Modderman, who currently resides with her family in Big Fork, Montana, guided the Lady Jackets to the 2006 NCCAA Cross Country Championship, three NCCAA Track & Field Championship banners, three conference titles, and was a member of the 2007 NAIA National Runner-Up squad in track & field.
