BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The NAIA #20 Lady Jackets competed in their only 6,000 meter race of the season and placed 5th out of 17 schools at the Bowling Green Invitational.
NAIA #5 and American Mideast Conference member Malone won the meet with 57 points. NCAA Division I Kent State was the runner-up with 66 points and was followed by Division II Ashland, 84; D-I Bowling Green, 94; and Cedarville with 147 points.
Rachel Wong covered the 6K course in 22:24 to finish 12th out of 177 competitors. Hannah Lamos was 28th in 22:48 and Neola Putnam was 29th in 22:49.
Erica Hoff placed 35th in 22:52 and Grace Campbell was 60th in 23:24. Carolyn Case, one of the team's top returnees, continued her comeback to finish 67th in 23:30 in her first race in six weeks. Meghan Terrell was 94th in 24:09.
