PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Point Park notched a key American Mideast Conference victory by defeating the Lady Jackets in a five-set marathon.

The Pioneers won the contest by scores of 25-21, 22-25, 25-15, 23-25, 15-11 to improve their record to 26-9 overall and 4-3 AMC. PPU scored the first four points of the decisive fifth set and never looked back.

Lauren Gill was one of four Cedarville players to hit double figures in kills with 14. Kylee Husak drilled 13, Stephanie Rogers had 12, and Lauren Williams added 11.

Heather Kirkpatrick came up with 26 digs, Kara Yutzy had 17 while Emilie Lynch chipped in 14. Erica Bartholomew dished out 51 assists.

It was the third setback in a row for the Lady Jackets, 13-15 and 4-3 AMC.
