HOUGHTON, N.Y. - Rachel Wong placed 4th and Erica Hoff was 6th as NAIA #18 Cedarville finished as the runner-up at the American Mideast Conference Women's Cross Country Championship hosted by Houghton College.

NAIA #5 Malone repeated as champion with 25 points to outrun nine other schools. The Lady Jackets tallied 45 points while Houghton had 78.

Wong negotiated the soggy 5,000 meter course in 17:58. She posted her personal-best time in 38° temperatures and snow flurries.

Hoff turned in an 18:22 effort to lead a group of six other CU runners who all broke the 19:00 barrier. She and Wong earned spots on the seven-member All-AMC First Team.

Neola Putnam was clocked in 18:35 to finish 10th. Carolyn Case was 12th in 18:38 and Hannah Lamos was 13th in 18:39. That trio all picked up All-AMC Second Team recognition.

Grace Campbell finished 16th in 18:50 and Meghan Terrell was 17th in 18:54. Both were All-AMC honorable mention.
