EUCLID, Ohio - Matthew Willett spun a complete-game three-hitter as Cedarville avoided a four-game series sweep at Notre Dame with a 6-1 victory in the second game of an American Mideast Conference doubleheader. The Falcons won the opener, 6-5.
Willett picked up his first win of the season by limiting NDC to an unearned run. He struck out seven and walked three.

Cedarville erased a three-run deficit in the first game with a three-run 5th inning to knot the score at 5-5. NDC pushed across the game winner in the bottom half of the frame.
