CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Lady Jackets continued their unbeaten start in the American Mideast Conference with a convincing 8-1 victory over Malone at the Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex.

Cedarville, 9-3 overall and 3-0 AMC, grabbed a 2-1 lead coming out of doubles. Georgiann McClure and Carissa Parmerlee coasted to an 8-1 decision at the #2 spot while the #3 tandem of Melissa Stoltzfus and Rachel Arthur won, 8-4.

The Lady Jackets swept all six singles matches, but two players had to rally after dropping the first set. Making comebacks were #1 Joy Kellogg, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, as well as #3 McClure, 1-6, 6-1, 6-2.

Other winners were #2 Brooke Johnson, 6-3, 6-0; #4 Parmerlee, 7-5, 6-1; #5 Stoltzfus, 6-1, -2; and #6 Arthur, 6-3, 6-1. [RESULTS]
