PORTSMOUTH, Ohio - Cedarville kept its American Mideast Conference record unblemished with a surprisingly easy 9-0 victory at Shawnee State.
The Lady Jackets, who won for the fourth straight time to improve to 12-3 overall and 5-0 AMC, dropped just two games total in doubles. Those were surrendered by the #2 tandem of Georgiann McClure and Carissa Parmerlee in an 8-2 decision.
The #1 pair of Joy Kellogg and Brooke Johnson breezed to an 8-0 outcome as did #3 Melissa Stoltzfus and Rachel Arthur.
It wasn't much different in singles where Cedarville lost no more than two games in any given set. The winners from top-to-bottom were Kellogg (6-1, 6-0), Johnson (6-0, 6-0), McClure (6-1, 6-1), Parmerlee (6-2, 6-1), Stoltzfus (6-2, 6-2), and Arthur (6-0, 6-1). [RESULTS]
