SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - The American Mideast Conference co-champion Lady Jackets cruised to a 9-0 non-league win over Huntington to close out the regular season indoors at the Springfield Racquet Club.

Cedarville, 15-5 overall, had little resistance in disposing of the Foresters. The #1 doubles team of Joy Kellogg and Brooke Johnson registered an 8-3 decision. The other two pairings of #2 Georgiann McClure and Carissa Parmerlee as well as #3 Melissa Stoltzfus and Rachel Arthur tallied 8-0 wins in their matches.

In singles, #1 Kellogg won by a 6-4, 7-5 count. Johnson was a 6-2, 6-1 winner at the #2 spot and #3 McClure won, 6-4, 6-4.

The bottom half of the line-up dropped just two games total. The winners were #4 Parmerlee (6-1, 6-0), #5 Stoltzfus (6-0, 6-1), and #6 Arthur (6-0, 6-0). [RESULTS]
