NAIA All-America honors to Wong, Winik

MARION, Ind. - Lydia Wong and Alexa Winik both achieved All-America recognition on the final day of the 30th Annual Women's NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championship hosted by Indiana Wesleyan University.

Wong completed her accomplished career by becoming an All-American (top six finishers) in the 1,500 meter run for the third straight year. She placed 6th in 4:36.90.

Winik sprinted to a 6th-place finish in the 400 meter dash final in 55.80 seconds. The effort matched her All-America performance in the same event during the indoor season when she placed 3rd.

Tara Leaman was the other Lady Jacket competing on the final day. She ended her career finishing 29th in the discus with a toss of 123-feet 2-inches.
