WILMINGTON, Ohio - Wilmington manufactured a goal early in the second overtime to beat Cedarville, 2-1, in non-conference play.
The score in the extra session completed a comeback for the host Quakers, 3-1-1 overall. They remain unbeaten in five meetings with the Lady Jackets.
CU lit up the scoreboard first. Jaimie Watkins cleaned up a rebound off the keeper in the 8th minute for her second goal of the season. Arianna Pepper had the assist.
Wilmington equalized in the 29th minute. The two teams remained deadlocked at 1-1 until the hosts put in the winner in the 102nd minute.
Alysia Bennett made nine saves in goal for the Jackets, 1-4.
