PEPPER PIKE, Ohio - Ursuline netted a goal early in the second half which stood up for a 1-0 American Mideast Conference win over Cedarville.
The Arrows, 4-4 overall, scored on a free kick in the 52nd minute. It's all they would need for their first AMC win of the season after four losses.
Ursuline had the slight edge in overall shots, 6-5, and in shots on goal, 4-2. Both teams attempted just two corner kicks apiece and both were whistled for 11 fouls each. The Arrows were shown the lone caution of the match.
The Lady Jackets drop to 4-6 and 2-1 AMC. Alysia Bennett was credited with three saves for Cedarville.
