UPLAND, Ind. - Taylor scored on four of its first five shots on goal and cruised to a 4-0 non-conference victory over visiting Cedarville.
The Trojans, 3-1 overall, netted all of its goals in the first period in defeating the Lady Jackets for only the third time in 13 women's soccer meetings between the two schools.
Taylor got on the board in the 7th minute. They added scores in the 19th, 33rd, and 42nd minutes to build an insurmountable halftime bulge.
TU had the overall edge in shots, 12-6; shots on goal, 6-3; and corner kicks, 7-1. Alysia Bennett was credited with two saves for Cedarville, 1-3.
