WILMINGTON, Ohio - Cedarville picked up its first men's tennis win of the 2012-13 season by cruising to a 9-0 result at Wilmington.

The Yellow Jackets, 1-3 overall, received the benefit of three points via forfeit at #3 doubles (David Barton and Corey Whitlock) as well as #5 (Jared Gerber) and #6 singles (Barton).

Aaron Niemiec and John Filcik battled to an 8-5 win at #1 doubles. Gerber and Quinton Paul combined for an 8-1 decision in the #2 spot.

Filcik played in the #1 singles position and needed three sets to win 6-1, 6-7, 11-9. Other points came from #2 Paul (6-1, 7-5), #3 Josh Van Zandt (6-0, 6-1), and #4 Jake Miller (6-2, 6-0).
