KETTERING, Ohio - Cedarville had to move indoors to the Five Seasons Sports Club to play its spring home opener against West Virginia State which resulted in an easy 9-0 outcome.

The visitors forfeited points at #3 doubles and #6 singles. The host Yellow Jackets dominated the seven matches that were played.

Aaron Niemiec and John Filcik combined for an 8-1 decision at the top doubles spot. Quinton Paul and Jared Gerber also won by an 8-1 count.

Singles was more of the same with three CU players posting 6-0, 6-0 scores. Those were posted by #1 Niemiec, #4 Adam Levesque, and #5 Josh Van Zandt.

Filcik was a winner at the #2 slot, 7-5, 6-0. Paul claimed the #3 singles point, 6-3, 6-0.

The Yellow Jackets improve to 3-7 overall. West Virginia State is 0-2.
