WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. - West Liberty grabbed the momentum early by sweeping the doubles and rode the wave to a 7-2 result over the Yellow Jackets in a non-conference men's tennis match.

The Hilltoppers copped the three doubles matches in chilly outdoor conditions and then claimed four of the six singles contests.

John Filcik posted a 6-2, 6-2 victory at #2 singles for Cedarville, 5-9 overall. Quinton Paul tallied a straight-set win at #3 by a 6-2, 6-3 count.

West Liberty improved to 5-6.
