Box Score TAMPA, Fla. - The Yellow Jackets gave NCAA Division II No. 4 Tampa all it could handle before falling 14-10 to the five-time national champions.

Cedarville was in it from the first pitch. The Jackets hammered 16 hits overall and used a five-run fourth inning to send the Spartans into an 8-1 deficit.

Tampa rallied with a five-spot of its own in the seventh to cut the difference to 8-7. However, David Ledbetter's two-run single in the eighth gave CU a 10-7 cushion.

The Spartans finally came off the mat with seven runs in the eighth inning, but the Yellow Jackets wouldn't go quietly. They loaded the bases in the ninth before UT brought the uprising to a halt.

Logan Kasabian went 4-for-6 at the plate with two runs and two RBI's for Cedarville, 2-4. David Ledbetter finished with two hits and three RBI's.

Chris Ward totaled two hits and three runs scored. David Lenhardt had two hits and two runs while Dan Larkin scored twice.

Tampa is 13-2.
