Trojans push Cedarville to deciding game

Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Top seed Trevecca Nazarene won the battle of the last four innings to defeat No. 2 Cedarville, 12-7, to force a final championship contest in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament.

The two teams will decide the title on Wednesday with first pitch at 12 noon EDT.

It was a 3-3 deadlock through five innings when the host Trojans opened up the offense. They outscored CU 9-4 the rest of the way.

Lenhardt finished 2-for-3 with two runs scored. The Jackets managed just seven hits, but they failed to take advantage of 12 walks and one hit batter by stranding 16 baserunners.

Trevecca Nazarene, 30-20, rapped out 16 hits including four for extra bases.
