Third Annual Don Callan Classic InfoQuotable:Â Head Coach Pat Estepp"Credit Ashland. They did a good job defending the three on us. The way we play requires a lot of energy and focus and I don't think we had enough of either tonight.
"I am sure getting to bed as late as we did had an impact on that as well as not having J.C. (Faubion) who has been one of our biggest energy guys. As bad as we played, if we make layups and free throws, that game comes down to the last possession."
Numbers Game:- A total of 51 combined fouls were whistled and 65 total free throws were attempted.
- Ashland controlled the boards, 42-24.
- CU committed four fewer turnovers (20) than did Ashland (24).
