Quotable: Head Coach
Pat Estepp"Hats off to Mount Vernon. They were ready to play tonight and we weren't. We did not defend in the first half at all.
"They are a good team and Jared (Ronai) is doing a great job getting them back to being the program we all remember at Mount Vernon. Regardless of the level, if you don't defend and make people take contested shots, protect the paint, and rebound the ball, it is difficult to win a game."
Numbers Game:- The Jackets made at least 10 three-pointers for the fifth consecutive game.
- CU's 22 free throws made was a season high, however, MVNU went 32-for-38 at the line - season-highs for an opponent in both categories.
