CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Lady Jackets defeated league-leading Findlay, 5-2, to wrap up the regular season and remain in the hunt for the G-MAC regular season championship.
The Oilers won the first game, 8-3, in ten innings.
Cedarville, 30-16 overall and 19-5 G-MAC, built a 5-0 lead in the nightcap.
Danielle Wolgamot got it started in the first inning with an RBI triple and later scored on a wild pitch.
Hannah Lord sparked the offense with four stolen bases two of which were to home plate. She totaled three runs scored while
Kaitlyn Woerner doubled in a run.
Starting pitcher
McKenna Smith, 6-2, struck out three batters in 5 2/3 innings. Wolgamot finished up for her fourth save.
In game one, Findlay rallied to score the tying run in the seventh inning and then erupted for five runs in the tenth.
Sarah Parsons had two hits including a double. Woerner and
Heather Lord added two hits.
