RESULTS
NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Six Yellow Jackets recorded top five performances at the North Central Invitational in the men's track & field regular season finale.
Kevin Knox was the runner-up in the javelin with a toss of 186-3 (56.78 meters).
Trent Classen was third in the 3,000 meter steeplechase in 9:03.98 while
Tommy Ansiel took third in the pole vault at 16-5.25 (5.01m). Both previously are NCAA Division II provisional qualifiers.
Jonathan Scouten placed fourth in the shot put with a career-best heave of 49-7 (15.11m).
Ethan Gatchell was fifth in the 800 meters in 1:52.67.
Lane Hluch finished fifth in the hammer throw with a mark of 172-6 (52.57m) which rates eighth all-time at Cedarville.
In the 1,500,
Alex Weber (3:58.27) and
Alec Weinhold (4:02.92) both set PR's.
Ethan Sullivan (15:06.62),
Ford McElroy (16:00.42), and
Andrew LeMesurier (16:49.59) competed in the 5K.
Scouten was seventh in the hammer with a throw of 165-9 (50.52m) and
Tucker Rhodes was 16th in the javelin at 144-10 (44.16m).
