HILLSDALE, Mich. - Six Lady Jackets scored points on the final day of the G-MAC Outdoor Track & Field Championship lead Cedarville to a sixth place finish.
Rachel Sweeney ran a personal-best 2:14.89 in the 800 meters to place fourth.
Marie Ewing's PR of 2:19.87 was good enough for a sixth-place showing.
Kayla Casaletto was fifth in the 5,000 meters in 18:01.56.
In the field events,
Mariah Cruise was fourth in the discus with a mark of 130-11 (39.90 meters).
Cruise finished sixth in the shot put at 42-9.50 (13.04m) which is the third-best effort in school history.
Abigail Brown was eighth with a PR of 40-8.25 (12.40m).
On Friday, four Lady Jackets placed in the pole vault led by
Madeline Barnes in third at 11-0.75 (3.37m).
Taylor Nunan and
Jessica Barton tied for fifth (10-0.75; 3.07m) and
Amanda Edwards tied for seventh (9-5; 2.87m).
Brown was fourth in the javelin at 107-4 (32.72m) and Casaletto was fifth in the 3,000 meters steeplechase in a career-best 11:14.04.
Hillsdale won the team title with 216.5 points and Walsh was the runner-up with 180 points. Cedarville totaled 47 points.
