CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Head coach
Pat Estepp is pleased to announce another important addition to the 2021-22 Yellow Jacket basketball program. Timmy Davis recently signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Cedarville University and play for the Yellow Jackets.
Davis, a 6-foot-3 guard from Cologne, Germany, played his freshman through junior campaigns at Creekview High School in Canton, Georgia averaging 16.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 6.4 assists per game as a junior while setting a school record .440 three-point field goal percentage.
Davis transferred to Sequoyah High School in Canton, Georgia for his senior season but was later declared ineligible to participate in basketball by the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) due to the transfer.
Davis spent last year at The Winchendon School in Winchendon, Massacusetts but the prep school was unable to have a season due to the COVID pandemic.
Coach Estepp noted, "We are really excited to add Timmy Davis to our Yellow Jacket family. He is going to be a great fit for our program and our university. Timmy is somewhat of a hidden gem. He has a lot of talent and just needs some on-court experience. We are thrilled to get such a quality young man this late in the recruiting process!"
