HILLSDALE, Mich. - Cedarville won five events on the track and finished a close second in the Hillsdale Winter Classic at the Biermann Athletic Center.
Three performances cracked the Lady Jackets all-time indoor Top 10.
Alexandra Brizzi won the 60 meter dash in 7.90 seconds. Her prelim mark of 7.86 is the seventh-fastest in school history.
CU dominated the 3,000 meters by taking the top six places led by champion
Naomi Herman in 10:08.59 which nipped runner-up
Bethany Sholl, who was clocked in 10:08.63.
Herman's time is No. 7 on the program's all-time list and Sholl's is No. 8.
Other winners included
Alayna Ackley in the 800 (2:25.31),
Rachel Sweeney-Bredeson in the mile (5:11.58), and the 4 x 400 meter relay quartet (4:28.94).
The host Chargers won the four-team meet with 106 points with the Lady Jackets second with 105.50.
