CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Lady Jackets posted multiple impressive marks during the Cedarville Collegiate Invite at the Doden Field House.
Pole vault specialist
Haleigh Eckert met the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying standard by clearing 12-10.25 (3.92 meters) - the second-best effort in school history.
Freshman
Nora Hagan blazed to victory in the 60 meter dash in 7.69 seconds which rates second all-time at CU - 0.06 behind her school record. Her time of 7.85 in the prelims rates No. 8.
Hagan also won the 200 in 25.74 to rank No. 9 on the Lady Jackets' Top 10.
Rachel Sweeney-Bredeson took first in the 3,000 meters with a time of 10:00.55 while
Savannah Ackley was the runner-up in 10:03.94. Those times are the third and fifth-fastest in school history, respectively.
Cedarville claimed first place in eight other events:
Cedarville racked up 250 points to win the 13-team meet followed by Dayton (59) and Mount Vernon Nazarene (55).
