PITTSBURG, Kansas - Haleigh Eckert finished 16th in the pole vault at the NCAA Division II Women's Indoor Track & Field Championship.

The event was held in the Robert W. Plaster Center on the campus of Pittsburg State University.

Eckert cleared 12-1.50 (3.70 meters) in her first attempt, but missed all three attempts at 12-7.50 (3.85m).

The sophomore from Mason, Ohio was making her first appearance in the NCAA Championships.

She was the only Yellow Jacket, male or female, to qualify for the national indoor meet.
